How UK Trade Hires provides services, invoicing, and site use rules.
Related: Privacy · Terms · Your Data Rights · Data Retention
These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the UK Trade Hires website and, where applicable, the recruitment/introduction services we provide.
UK Trade Hires operates on an hourly margin model. We do not sell subscriptions to access CVs. Where an introduction results in work starting, we invoice based on timesheets for hours actually worked, as agreed with the Employer.
If an Employer cancels a requirement before a start date and no work has begun, no invoice is due. If an assignment ends, invoicing stops for any hours not worked. Fees may still apply for work already undertaken (for example, sourcing and screening) where agreed with the Employer.
Employers are responsible for carrying out UK Right to Work checks before employment starts and for keeping required records. UK Trade Hires provides introductions and recruitment support only and does not provide legal advice or guarantee an individual’s Right to Work status. Read our guidance: Right to Work Guidance.
You must not misuse the site, submit unlawful content, attempt to access restricted areas without permission, introduce malware, or interfere with the site’s operation.
Candidate CVs and Employer information may be confidential. You must not disclose or distribute information you access through the service except where required for legitimate recruitment purposes.
Website content, branding and materials are owned by UK Trade Hires or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse our content or branding without permission.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Subject to the paragraph above, our total liability in connection with the Services is limited to the total fees paid to UK Trade Hires by the Employer for the relevant introduction/assignment during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of profit, loss of business, or reputational loss) to the extent permitted by law.
Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and related policies.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
